This policy explains what personal data DMS Ventures (trading as Mavorne) collects when you visit or buy from mavorne.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 where it applies.
Who is responsible
DMS Ventures, trading as Mavorne, registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number 42038305, VAT number NL005447816B28), Rivierenlaan 87, 1442 PC Purmerend, Netherlands, is the data controller. Privacy questions: info@mavorne.com.
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number.
- Order details: what you bought, order value, order history and your messages to us.
- Payment details: handled by Shopify Payments and the payment provider you choose. We never see or store your full card number.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and time of visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we use it
- to process and deliver your order and send confirmations, invoices and shipping updates;
- to answer your questions and handle returns;
- to prevent fraud and keep the store secure;
- to improve the website and our products;
- to send marketing emails if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Legal bases
Under the GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract (your order), legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the store), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us run the store: Shopify (platform and checkout), payment processors, shipping and fulfilment partners, and analytics and advertising providers. Each may only use your data for the service we have agreed and must protect it.
International transfers
We are based in the Netherlands, so your data is processed in the European Economic Area and, for delivery, in Australia. Our providers may process data elsewhere. Where data leaves the EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@mavorne.com; we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or, in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Security
The store runs on Shopify with SSL encryption and Shopify's security controls. No internet transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
The store is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its date.
